Dewdrops on Leaves

Dewdrops on Leaves
"Send down the dew, ye heavens, from above, and let the clouds rain the Just One: let the earth be opened, and bud forth the Redeemer."

Quotes from Mother Magdalen - All Saints

Mother Magdalen Taylor - Founder

Feast of All Saints

"I think so often of you all on this feast of all Saints. And among those saints we humbly believe are those of our own. They have already gone home and marked out the way for us, so that we may keep in their footprints."

Prayer: We pray today to all our own whom we believe are now in Heaven. In the Communion of Saints, we reach out to them, praising God with them, and imploring their help and protection as we live each day ‘in the hope of what we may become.’

_____________________________________________________________

"Let us ask Our Lord to make us very faithful servants.  We should ask the angels and the saints to be with us to assist us in life and in death."

Contemplate: Won't it be wonderful to hear those consoling words: 'Come, beloved of my Father, receive the crown prepared for you from all eternity!'

"God will reward even a cup of cold water given in his name.  How good he is!"

Contemplate: Sometimes we forget how grateful God is for such small actions.  Yet he assured us that it is true.  Like the saints before us, we will not fear death if our  life has been made up of small, loving acts and prayers for others.

Prayer: Lord, we pray today that we may always be charitable and forgiving, seeking the best of others, being for others.  May we be life-givers and filled with your love.
